Hi, I’m Ampy. And I’m a proud owner of an iJoy chair. As a masseur to the stars here in Hollywood, after a long hard day working on sets, I need to get massaged too. I use my chair on average… honestly, on average – 5 times a week. Especially after a long hard day, I’m able to sit in my chair, recline to whatever position I need it for, and I’m a tall guy, I’m 6’2”. So I’m able to adjust a chair just right for my height. It’s really all the movements that I would use with my hands as a therapist. It’s just like I need somebody to get in and work it out… and the iJoy really comes in handy for that. It was worth its weight in gold.—Ampy Korentang
Manny says: “Hi, my name is Manny, and this is my wife Jeanene, and this is our iJoy-100. Well, we got the iJoy – I bought it for my wife for Christmas. What’s neat about the chair is that it can recline the way back. When I spend 15 minutes in the chair, I’m able to sleep a little bit better at night, I wake up refreshed, revived… a real joy. Hence the name – iJoy. It’s small, but it packs a really powerful punch.” Jeanene says: “Prior to the iJoy I was having to go to the chiropractor at least a couple of times a month. The iJoy chair feels like a little tiny person inside, just kneading and massaging, and just getting all your stress points out. The iJoy chair has tremendously changed my life because I was in a lot of pain on a daily basis, and now whenever I use the iJoy chair, I know I can go sit on it and in 5 to 15 minutes I have complete relief and feel great.”—Manny & Jeanene Jones
I’m Geri-Ann Galanti, and I’m here because I love my iJoy chair. I have two sore areas. One is on my sciatica, and if I sit in the chair with the back straight up, I can sit and it gets right in that spot and just kneads it – it’s just perfect! The other part is my upper back and between my shoulder blades, and I just push the button to roll it up and then it gets in there and it kneads that area. It’s not just one of these “kind of” massages that you don’t really feel much, you know, a little vibration or something, it really gets in there and massages you.—Geri-Ann Galanti
You can see that technology at work in this quad-roller system that I removed from an iJoy-100. You’ll notice that the rollers, like human hands, move three-dimensionally, up-and-down, side-to-side and in-and-out. And like a massage therapist’s hands, they follow the natural curvature of your spine so you receive a remarkably lifelike massage. We also designed the system to be exceptionally quiet and extremely dependable. In fact, we put the iJoy-100 through extensive testing, using 370 pounds of weight and running the mechanism for more than 5 years of average use, so you can count on iJoy-100 to give you a terrific massage for many years to come.—Hans Dehli
Hi, I’m Roger Troussant and this here is my best friend – my iJoy. I’m a bartender out in Los Angeles and I’m on my feet a lot. I use my iJoy about 6 nights a week, when I get home from work. I get a lot of knots in my lower back and the iJoy works those knots out - I feel like a new man when I get off that iJoy. The iJoy definitely feels like human hands, I mean, it has a way of really getting in there like a shiatsu massage. I mean, it goes in, it feels like someone’s fingertip has just pushed on the right points that I needed on my back. In the past I spent a lot of money on massages. I mean, every time you go, between the tip and the massage, it gets very expensive. I bought the iJoy, I paid for it once, I don’t even have to tip it – it’s great.—Roger Troussant
Every day, more and more people realize that massage has wonderful benefits. It can reduce your heart rate, lower your blood pressure, improve circulation, increase flexibility, and raise levels of endorphins – these are your body’s natural painkillers. With the iJoy-100 robotic massage chair our goal is to bring those benefits to you, right in your own home. The iJoy-100 will give you an incredibly lifelike therapeutic massage anytime, day or night.—Ila Oldakowski
When I set out to design a chair, I need to know exactly what it’s going to do. Take this chair, for example. This is a work chair, and that’s exactly what it does – it makes me work. It keeps me at the desk, it supports me up against the desk all day, it goes up and down, it rotates... The one thing it doesn’t do is allow me to relax. And when I want to relax, I go home to my iJoy chair. iJoy chair is low to the ground, it’s got round shapes, it feels good, it looks good, and it’s a lot of fun.—David Potter
Ron says: “Hi, my name is Ron Broyles, I’m 51 years old, and that’s my iJoy. I actually bought the iJoy last Christmas for my wife as a present because she’s a marathon runner. Ramping up to her run, she’d run maybe 16, 18, 22 miles in a training run. I said: “You know, we can go to a massage therapist, but we can’t go every day to a massage therapist because it’s going to run up a tremendous bill…” And then I had a chance to try an iJoy. Someone was, like, there’s someone back there, pushing on your vertebrae, and straightening things out and relaxing you and loosening things up. It’s just a tremendous help to be able to come home at the end of the evening and have something like the iJoy to virtually be a massage therapist. We plan to stay active and fit for the rest of our lives, so the iJoy is going to be a very important part of that.” Nicki says: “Since my husband got the iJoy, I find it much better than going to a massage therapist. It goes right to the spots of my back that I need, it goes to the lower back, it goes to my neck, you know, down the middle. I can’t live without that… I mean, we’re planning to move at some point. And I told my husband: “You know what? Leave all the furniture here, but the iJoy is going with us.”—Ron Broyles & Nicki Broyles
Hi, I’m Jane Cho. This is my iJoy chair. I work on the computer 8+ hours a day, I’m a graphic designer. So I’m hunched over all the time. When I’m working, I wish I was at home sitting on my iJoy chair because my back starts stiffening up, I’m cranky. So I can’t wait to get on my chair. So it feels like hands all over my back. I swear, they feel like hands! Like four hands just massaging down your back. I’m like butter, I’m just melting. My girlfriends will call me to check up on me, to see if I’m on the chair. And I am, usually I am. And they tell me: “Oh my god, you need to get off that chair before you get stuck!” I wouldn’t get rid on my iJoy, that’s for sure. I got this as a Christmas gift about a year ago and I sit on it every single day.—Jane Cho
